This is where it begins. With me, with you and plenty of questions.

I’m Marco. Many people know me as der uNi. I’m 50, have plenty of ideas in my head and finally want to bring more of them out into the world. This is where they can find a home.
I enjoy travelling, especially to Thailand. I make music, like being out and about and think about things that don’t have quick answers. How do we want to live? What holds us together? And why do we put things off even when they matter to us?
If you’d like, come along for a while.
A thought from this story
What moves me
You’ll find personal thoughts here, including thoughts about the future and new beginnings. I don’t have a ready-made guide. I’m interested in how we handle our hopes, doubts and possibilities, and what changes when we talk about them.
Sometimes I’ll take you outside with me. It might be a woodland path, a day out or a moment from a trip. I notice an encounter, a sound or something funny by the roadside. A story can simply be enjoyable, too.
On the move and in stories
And then there are the stories. Fairy tales and fantasy have been on my mind for a long time. Now I want to send characters of my own on their way. Into cities that appear on no map. Across seas with something waiting on the other side. Into adventures where friendship can become uncomfortable.
These stories are created with the support of AI. I bring my ideas, choose what to keep and revise the text. Afterwards, I want to tell the stories in my own voice. For me, that includes being open about how they are made.
“uNi on the move” is for travel, days out and spontaneous thoughts. “Honestly, uNi …” is about real life, questions and things we can laugh about. “An evening with uNi” will be a place for readings, conversations and occasional music of my own.
Three series, many possibilities
My more detailed Thailand content belongs to Marco ThaiLife. Here I share the personal moments from those experiences. I make music as Mr. MUNIQAI; at uNi Unplugged I also talk about the thoughts behind it.
The homepage offers a short thought for the day. I want to make space for my own reflections alongside quotations. A sentence can open a conversation without having to mean the same thing to everyone.
Perhaps some stories will become a small book later. For now, I want to write and share things you’ll enjoy coming back to.
A beginning we can share
If you’d like, come along for a while. You’ll find me on YouTube and TikTok as der uNi Unplugged. And here, little by little, those ideas can become something.
